Outcome of Carnegie/Caledonian PhD Scholarships round 2020

The Carnegie Trust is delighted to announce that 11 Carnegie and 1 Caledonian PhD Scholarships have been awarded in the 2020 round.

In this round:

• 62 nominations were received (3 withdrew prior to shortlisting while one was discovered to be ineligible)
• 30 nominations were shot-listed for panel review
• 11 Carnegie awards have been made (among the offers extended 4 were declined and subsequently offered and accepted by the first four reserve candidates)
• 1 Caledonian Research Foundation Scholarship has been made
