The Trust is pleased to invite applications for excellent research projects spanning across different Scottish universities under the highly competitive Collaborative Research Grant scheme.
Collaborative Research Grants support joint research projects that bring together researchers from more than one Scottish university to develop new lines of study or to advance significantly existing areas of expertise.
This year, the Trust is introducing a number of funding priorities to select proposals:
Having established consistency with some of the Trust's strategic priorities, the principal criterion for the award of a CRG is that the planned research is of excellent quality and is likely to be of benefit to two or more of the universities of Scotland (research consortium).
Up to 10 Grants of a maximum of £50,000 each may be awarded in the 2016 round.
