Our volunteer Research Assessors are vital to the success of the Trust’s Research Incentive Grant scheme. With a record numbers of proposals received during our September 2017 RIG round the Trust is reliant on those members of the academic research community in Scotland and beyond who donate their time and expertise in helping us assess applications. To avoid overburdening our existing Assessors the Trust is currently seeking new recruits.
While the Trust welcomes Assessor applications from researchers of any discipline, to fill existing gaps in expertise, we are particularly keen to recruited experienced reviewers with backgrounds in areas such as:
- Biological and Biomedical Sciences
- Business Studies
- Human Geography
- Communication and Media Studies
- Social dimensions of health
- Health economics
- Social anthropology
