Highlights from Carnegie Vacation Scholars’ Poster Competition 2022

The Trust welcomed 54 Carnegie Undergraduate Vacation Scholars to our event on 7th September 2022, held at the Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh, along with 17 Supervisors.

The event featured poster presentations from students from the Scottish universities who have completed their Carnegie Vacation Scholarships over the summer. We heard speeches from our Chair, Ronnie Bowie and Dr Marc Reid, UKRI Future Leaders Fellow at the University of Strathclyde (former Carnegie PhD scholar and Supervisor to one of the 2022 Vacation Scholars).

A judging panel comprising of current and former Carnegie Grant Holders and members of our staff reviewed the posters, listened to the Scholars’ presentations and asked questions about their research.
