    The Trust has made two awards from the 2016 round of nominations under the Carnegie Centenary Professorships scheme. The successful nominees are Professor Leo Hollberg and Professor David B Dunson.

    Submissions for the 2017 round of Undergraduate Vacation Scholarships are now open and the Trust wishes to invite applications from penultimate year students to apply with independent research projects

  • Changes to Carnegie Research Grant Schemes 07 Feb

    The Carnegie Trust for the Universities of Scotland is in the process of reviewing its grant portfolio as part of a general strategic planning exercise. As a result, a number of changes are being introduced to the Trust's funding schemes for research. Download the full announcement.

  • Update on Carnegie-Cameron Bursaries for AY 2017-18 07 Feb

    Following the announcement by the Scottish Government of a loan scheme providing up to £5,500 towards postgraduate taught programme tuition fees, Trustees of the Carnegie Trust have decided to suspend the Carnegie-Cameron Bursary scheme for one year in the first instance. Carnegie-Cameron Bursaries will therefore not be offered for students starting a Masters in academic year 2017-18.
